Spanish press reports have revealed a major surprise regarding the departure of Barcelona’s first-team star during the upcoming winter transfer period in 2025, after he was excluded from the plans of German coach Hans Flick.

According to information received from the Spanish newspaper “Sport,” the Barcelona club management has agreed to the departure of player Ansu Fati during the upcoming winter transfer period in 2025.
The newspaper added that Barcelona has informed its player Ansu Fati and his agent, Jorge Mendes, that the decision will be theirs regarding the possibility of leaving next January.
The newspaper indicated that Barcelona will not refuse Fati’s departure on loan if there is a good offer, due to the difficulty of the player getting opportunities under Flick’s leadership, as he lacks confidence in him, especially after the declining level he presented with the team in his previous appearances.
The newspaper added that Ansu Fati has only participated for 28 minutes with Barcelona since the start of the current season.
