According to information from the Spanish newspaper “Sport,” Barcelona is still interested in strengthening the left wing position and has renegotiated with Portuguese winger Rafael Leão, a player for the Italian club AC Milan.
The newspaper added that Barcelona is seeking to sign Rafael Leão following issues with his compatriot Fonseca, the new coach of AC Milan this season.
Barcelona is monitoring the player’s situation and has contacted his agent to determine if there is a possibility of submitting an offer next summer to join the Catalan club.
Leão, 24, joined Milan in August 2019 and has been playing for the Rossoneri since then, coming from the French club Lille.
Leão has participated in various competitions for Milan, making 221 appearances, scoring 59 goals, and providing 54 assists. He won the Italian League title in the 2021-2022 season.
