Liverpool FC management is studying the idea of contracting one of Real Madrid’s most prominent players in the upcoming Mercato. This comes as coach Arne Slot seeks to assemble the best possible lineup for the Reds’ squad.
Real Madrid is experiencing a negative period in terms of results and performance, which has opened the door once again for the departure of some players who have not proven their efficiency with the team this season.
In light of this, press reports revealed that Liverpool FC management is considering a move for Aurelien Tchouameni, a first-team player for Real Madrid.
A report published by the British website “Team Talk” explained that Liverpool FC management wants to fulfill coach Arne Slot’s request to sign Tchouameni in the coming period.
The report added that reaching an agreement on Tchouameni remains possible, whether in the winter Mercato or during the summer transfer window.
The newspaper indicated that the value of the Tchouameni deal will not be less than the £100 million barrier, and management will have to move intensively to complete the deal.
Aurelien Tchouameni is 24 years old and excels in the defensive midfielder position. His contract with Real Madrid runs until June 2028. Tchouameni joined Real Madrid in 2022 from Monaco and has since played 102 matches in all competitions, scoring 3 goals and providing 5 assists.
