Real Madrid never stops, so the rumors about its future continue to grow, and this will only increase as the months go by, depending on the players’ performances on the pitch.

Recent reports, however, point to Xabi Alonso, who has always been admired by Florentino Perez and dreams of replacing the Italian coach in the future.
The series of negative results that Real Madrid has experienced recently has reinforced this idea, as Perez has become increasingly convinced of the need for change. He sees no one better than the former Real Madrid star to lead the upcoming revolution.

According to information from the Spanish newspaper “Defensa Central”, Carlo Ancelotti, whose contract extends until June 2026, understands that results are what matter most at Real Madrid. Therefore, he is aware of the growing speculation surrounding his future, even though he enjoys the club’s support.

The potential arrival of Xabi Alonso would have an immediate impact on the transfer market, especially since the presence of the Spaniard on the bench at Real Madrid would be crucial for the arrival of Florian Wirtz.
The newspaper also mentioned that Alonso will not give up on signing the German player, who he believes will be the best alternative to Real Madrid legends Toni Kroos and Luka Modric.

It is expected that signing the German star would cost the club over 100 million euros, a figure Florentino Perez is well aware of, though he is not entirely pleased with the cost. However, Juni Calafat remains the main supporter of the deal for the German player.
