Barcelona continues its quest to strengthen its squad with the best players in the world in order to return to winning titles, most notably the Champions League, a title that has been absent from the Catalan club’s trophy cabinet since 2015.
In this context, the Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo” reported that the management of Bayern Munich fears that Hansi Flick, the current coach of Barcelona, could convince two Bayern stars to move to Barca.
The contracts of Joshua Kimmich and Alphonso Davies with Bayern Munich will expire next summer, and so far, Bayern has not succeeded in reaching a final agreement with the distinguished duo.
Bayern Munich is also keeping an eye on Jonathan Tah, the star of the German national team and Bayer Leverkusen, whose contract will also expire in the summer.
The newspaper indicated that Bayern Munich is concerned about the threat posed by Hansi Flick, who has a strong relationship with both Alphonso Davies and Kimmich, as well as Tah, who worked with him in the German national team. Flick might convince the trio to join Barcelona on a free transfer after the team’s strong performance with the German coach this season.
The newspaper added that Bayern Munich intends to sign Tah after his contract expires but is currently wary of Flick, who may be able to convince the trio to join Barcelona and its promising project.
