German coach Hansi Flick has determined Barcelona’s attacking line for tonight’s match against Celta Vigo, in light of the absences caused by injuries.
Barcelona leads the La Liga standings with 33 points after 13 rounds, 6 points ahead of second-placed Real Madrid, with a postponed match for coach Carlo Ancelotti’s team.
According to information from the Catalan newspaper “Sport”, Flick intends to play Alejandro Balde in the winger position against Celta Vigo due to the absences in the attacking line.
The newspaper also indicated that Lamine Yamal’s injury and his exclusion from tonight’s match, along with the absence of the duo Ansu Fati and Ferran Torres, led the German coach to make this decision, which will surprise everyone.
Hansi Flick has no options other than Raphinha and Lewandowski, who is also injured “currently,” and Pau Victor, whom the German coach does not trust.
The newspaper further explained that if Balde plays on the wing, young star Gerard Martin will take the left-back position.
Barcelona will face Celta Vigo in the 14th round of La Liga tonight at Balaidos Stadium.
