Several Barcelona players are unhappy with their current roles under Hansi Flick and have started seriously considering their future options.

These players are dissatisfied with their secondary positions and are eager to play regularly. However, due to the strong competition in their respective roles, it appears that a change in their situation will be difficult in the near future.
As a result, some players have already started preparing to leave the club as soon as possible, with the winter transfer window opening in less than a month.

According to the Spanish newspaper “El Nacional”, one of the most prominent candidates to depart Camp Nou in January is Eric Garcia, who has yet to return from the injury he sustained a few weeks ago. He may have already played his last match for Barcelona, possibly without realizing it.

Garcia started the season as a regular starter and featured in several matches due to injuries to key central defenders and midfielders. This is the reason why he was not sold during the summer transfer window, despite receiving attractive offers, including one from Girona valued at over 10 million euros. However, after the departures of Clément Lenglet and Mickaël Faye, Hansi Flick chose to keep Garcia in the squad.

Flick was unable to leave the team without alternatives in those positions, so Garcia was given playing opportunities, despite not fully proving himself. The player has not been able to replicate his performance from last season, which has led to his exclusion from Flick’s current plans.

With Frenkie de Jong, Pablo Páez “Gavi,” and Fermin López fully recovered, and Andreas Christensen and Ronald Araujo nearing a return to action, Garcia has found it increasingly difficult to secure playing time.

Aware of this situation, Eric Garcia has decided that the best course of action for him is to leave Barcelona. He has requested that Joan Laporta consider all offers, whether on loan or for a permanent transfer, and has made it clear that he will not be stubborn if the opportunity to leave arises.

It is expected that he will be allowed to depart, with several clubs already expressing interest in signing him and adding him to their squads.
