Barcelona tied 2-2 with Real Betis in an exciting match that took place yesterday evening, in the 16th round of the Spanish League.
The match ended with one point for each team, keeping Barcelona at the top of the league table with 38 points, while Real Betis increased their total to 21 points, placing them in eleventh position.
According to information from the Spanish newspaper “El Nacional”, the most upset and disappointed Barcelona player after the draw was the talented star Lamine Yamal, who fought until the last second to lead Barcelona to victory in the match.
The newspaper added that Yamal is unprecedentedly angry with one of the stars of the Catalan team and has asked Hansi Flick to permanently exclude the player from participating with the team this season.
The newspaper also mentioned that Yamal does not want to see the Dutch player Frenkie de Jong on the field again, as he believes that as soon as De Jong enters, the match turns against Barcelona.
It was further reported that Yamal told Flick that he feels more comfortable with Pedri and Olmo on the field, and that the dynamic is completely different when De Jong is present.
The newspaper concluded by stating that Barcelona’s management is already considering reaching an agreement with the Dutch player for him to leave in the upcoming winter transfer window in January, and to sign a midfielder to replace him, likely at a lower salary.
