Hansi Flick has identified four Barcelona players who do not play a significant role in his future plans, and he hopes they will leave as soon as possible.

Flick is unhappy with the contributions of these players and has asked Joan Laporta and Deco to find buyers for them. The aim is to free up financial resources and make room for new additions to the squad. The first player identified for departure is Ansu Fati.

It comes as no surprise that Flick is looking to move on Ansu Fati, the 22-year-old striker who has been plagued by ongoing physical problems and has spent more time in the hospital than on the pitch. When he has played, he has shown a poor level of performance, making him vulnerable to criticism from many who believe he can no longer provide any benefit to the team. In this context, Flick believes the best option is to allow him to leave the Camp Nou, especially considering his large salary.

Although Flick had hoped to give Fati a chance to develop, the striker has completely disappointed the coach, which has led Flick to decide that his future at the club is no longer guaranteed.
In addition to Fati, Hector Fort is also among the players at risk of leaving. Fort has been one of the least used players in Flick’s plans and was suspended after a poor performance against Las Palmas. As a result, the club is seeking an opportunity to loan him out to gain experience at another team.

Ferran Torres is also on the list of players who could leave in January, which comes as a surprise given his good performances in recent weeks. Flick has given him plenty of opportunities, especially when he scored several goals, but his overall contribution has not been decisive enough, raising doubts about his abilities. Ultimately, Torres continues to play mainly due to the lack of attacking alternatives.

Laporta and Deco have been given the mandate by Flick to negotiate any offers that may come in during the winter transfer window, with the goal of speeding up the process of offloading these players.
The biggest surprise is seeing Ronald Araujo on the list of players who could leave, although it seems unlikely that he will depart at this time.

However, his contract expires in 2026, and no renewal agreement has been reached yet. Flick seems to prefer relying on other players such as Pau Coparsi and Iñigo Martinez, who are not currently at risk of leaving. Therefore, losing Araujo in the future would not have a major impact on Barcelona if he is sidelined for the time being.
