Reports from the Spanish press have revealed a major surprise regarding Real Madrid’s indirect involvement in the potential departure of one of Barcelona’s players during the current winter transfer period.

Barcelona is currently in a state of tension, as La Liga and the Spanish Football Federation have refused to register their new signings, Dani Olmo and Pau Victor, due to Financial Fair Play restrictions.

Although Barcelona is back under the 1/1 rule, La Liga’s insistence and the Spanish Federation’s refusal pose a significant obstacle to registering the players. The Catalan club now has only two options to register Olmo and Pau Victor: to appeal to the Supreme Sports Council (CSD) or to take the matter to the ordinary judiciary.

According to the Spanish newspaper “Sport”, the president of the CSD, José Manuel Uribes, is a Real Madrid fan and a regular guest in the VIP box at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Therefore, the CSD president might decide to refuse to register Dani Olmo and Pau Victor, a move that could work in favor of Real Madrid.

Such a decision would leave Barcelona without two of its key players, with no immediate way to replace them, thereby threatening the team’s strength and weakening its chances of competing.
