In an exclusive interview with the Argentine newspaper “TYC”, Argentine football legend Lionel Messi opened up about several situations within Barcelona, shocking the team’s fans and sparking a wave of controversy in sports circles. Messi did not hesitate to make an explicit accusation, pointing to a person he believes is primarily responsible for the team’s current crisis.

In fiery statements, Messi confirmed that Barcelona will not return to the top of Europe unless the club makes a decisive change. He said: “If Barcelona wants to return to the top of Europe, they must expel Laporta from the club’s presidency immediately and without hesitation.”

These words caused a great shock among Barcelona officials, especially since Messi mentioned Laporta’s name clearly, though it was understood what he meant. Later, Messi revealed the “first accused,” the person he believes is the main reason for the deterioration of the team’s situation and the Dani Olmo crisis.

According to Messi, the primary cause of the Dani Olmo crisis is the Barcelona president, who failed to manage the club’s financial situation properly and mortgaged Barcelona’s assets for decades to come.
Messi added in his statements to the Argentine newspaper: “Barcelona is the best team in the world, but they need to choose a president who cares about the club’s interests, not just his personal interests.”
