One of the English Premier League strikers has rejected a move to Real Madrid in the current winter transfer window.
Press reports indicated that Real Madrid hoped to sign Aston Villa striker John Duran, as they wanted to include Brazilian Endrick Felipe in the deal.
Reports also indicated that Duran categorically refused to move to Real Madrid and prefers to join Saudi Al-Nasr in January.
According to player transfer market specialist Rudy Galetti, who revealed the reason driving Colombian John Duran to prefer moving to Saudi Al-Nasr despite the interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid in obtaining his services, Galetti said: “Duran has a real desire to play for Al-Nasr. He is open to evaluating these offers and the possibility of moving to Saudi Arabia, as he has no personal obstacles.”
He added: “Duran confirmed that he is open to this offer and that he wants to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, especially since he is one of his biggest fans; therefore, it is a personal desire for him.”
He further stated: “His desire to play alongside Ronaldo is an additional advantage for Al-Nasr Club. But so far, there have been no official offers, although he appreciates the offer.”
