FC Barcelona entered into negotiations during the past few hours with one of the major English Premier League clubs, for the transfer of first-team football winger Ansu Fati, in the summer Mercato.
Fati has an ongoing contract with Barcelona until June 30, 2027, but there are many rumors about the young Spaniard’s future at Camp Nou.
Romano reported through his official Twitter account that Barcelona and Tottenham are in official negotiations for the Spaniard’s transfer on loan to the English club until June 2024.
There are discussions between Barcelona and Tottenham on many financial matters, especially since the Catalan club wants to pay its English counterpart the full salary during the loan period.
The famous journalist confirmed that Chelsea was indeed one of the clubs interested in including Fati, but the English club did not make any official offer to sign the player from Barcelona.
