According to information from the Spanish newspaper ‘‘El Nacional‘‘, Pablo Torre, Barcelona’s promising young midfielder, has made the decisive decision to leave the club on loan during the upcoming summer transfer window. He described this season as disappointing under coach Hansi Flick. The 18-year-old has informed the club’s management of his desire to leave in order to gain regular playing time and develop his game in a competitive environment that allows him to grow.

Pablo Torre has had limited opportunities this season, featuring in just 15 matches, totaling only 480 minutes, and spending most of the season on the bench.

His frustration peaked during the match against Real Mallorca, when Torre showed signs of dissatisfaction with his omission. According to eyewitnesses, Torre refused to greet the coach after the match, a gesture interpreted as a clear message of protest. Despite Flick’s attempt to calm the situation by speaking to the player, the message was clear: the player could no longer accept his marginalization.

Pablo Torre isn’t seeking a permanent departure, but rather a temporary loan move to a team that will provide him with regular playing time. He realizes that at this critical stage of his professional development, continuing without meaningful participation could hinder his progress. His team, in coordination with sporting director Deco, has begun studying offers from clubs within La Liga, while the possibility of a move abroad remains open if a serious sporting project exists that guarantees him playing time.

Flick, however, has not expressed opposition to the idea of a temporary departure. He believes a loan move could provide the player with an opportunity to gain additional experience away from the pressure of the first team, which could contribute to his maturation and lead to a strong return in the future.
