According to reports from the Santiago Bernabéu, Klopp would be willing to take over at the same salary if Madrid officially approached him. However, the chances of signing him remain slim, especially given that Xabi Alonso is the club’s preferred choice for the position.
Although Real Madrid seriously considered hiring the German coach, Klopp was never the first choice. The club views Xabi Alonso as the natural successor to Ancelotti, which explains why the Spanish coach previously rejected opportunities to manage Liverpool and Bayern Munich last summer.

The newspaper added that Klopp has set strict conditions, most notably the immediate departure of five Real Madrid players: Alaba, Mendy, Modrić, Lucas Vázquez, and Fran García.
He has also requested three high-profile signings: Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Florian Wirtz, and Swedish striker Alexander Isak.
The newspaper concluded that Pérez considers these demands excessive and is not inclined to meet them, which may lead him to abandon the idea of hiring the German coach altogether.
