According to information from the Spanish newspaper Defensa Central, Real Madrid remains open to the departure of any player who is not fully committed to the club, while also making it clear that it has no intention of parting ways with those considered essential to its long-term sporting project.

Two such key players are Rodrygo and Brahim Díaz. While the club is not actively looking to sell either, it would be willing to consider serious offers should the players themselves express a desire to leave. The valuation is set high: €150 million for Rodrygo and €75 million for Brahim.

Both players have contributed significantly to the team in recent seasons and are still young—Rodrygo is 24 and Brahim is 25. As they have not yet reached their peak, the club is eager to continue building around them. However, both are ambitious and may seek greater playing time and individual prominence, which could place them at a crossroads.

With Vinícius Jr., Kylian Mbappé, and Jude Bellingham already established in the squad, opportunities for Rodrygo and Brahim to feature as consistent starters could become increasingly limited. This leaves them with two possible paths: accept a long-term supporting role, or move to a club where they can take on a more central role. Alternatively, exceptional performance improvements in the coming seasons could shift their status within the squad.

At present, both players are reportedly committed to staying at Real Madrid. Brahim’s contract runs until June 30, 2027, while Rodrygo is signed through 2028. Their release clauses are set at very high figures, making any exit dependent on the club’s approval.

The club is approaching the situation with calm and confidence, particularly as there have been no indications from either player of a desire to leave. With a new coaching era on the horizon and further reinforcements expected in the transfer window, there is a sense of optimism around the project. Still, in football, circumstances can change rapidly — whether due to irresistible offers or shifts in the player-club relationship.

As a result, Real Madrid continues to monitor the transfer market closely, keeping an eye on interested clubs and preparing for any scenario that may unfold involving either player.
