Barcelona’s emerging talent, Lamine Yamal, expressed his immense joy following his team’s thrilling 4–3 victory over long-standing rivals Real Madrid in the headline clash of Matchday 35 in La Liga.
The Montjuïc Stadium played host to the high-stakes encounter, which saw the home side secure a dramatic win thanks to goals from Eric García, Lamine Yamal, and a brace from Raphinha Díaz. On the opposing side, French superstar Kylian Mbappé scored a hat-trick for Los Blancos.

Speaking to Movistar after the match, the 16-year-old said:
“I’m very, very happy with this victory. It was a great match. It’s true that we made some mistakes and gave them goals, but they didn’t create many clear chances. Now it’s time to enjoy this moment.”
Commenting on Barcelona’s European ambitions, Yamal added:
“The Champions League comes every year, and we’ll keep trying until we win the title. Today, it was crucial to win in order to get closer to the La Liga title—especially after our European exit.”
The young forward also praised the fans for their unwavering support, despite not playing at Camp Nou:
“We weren’t at our usual stadium, but the fans supported us strongly here. We’re very thankful for that support and we truly appreciate it.”
Yamal concluded with a heartfelt message about his bond with the club:
“Barcelona is the club of my life. Playing in El Clásico and scoring a goal is an indescribable feeling. We know that winning Thursday’s derby against Espanyol will be key to keeping the pressure on until the final whistle.”
