Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni offered valuable advice to Real Madrid’s prospective coach, Xabi Alonso, urging him to sign young Argentine international Nico Paz.
Real Madrid is expected to soon announce the appointment of Xabi Alonso as the successor to Carlo Ancelotti, following a disappointing season in which they lost the Spanish Super Cup and Copa del Rey to Barcelona, and were eliminated from the Champions League in the quarterfinals by Arsenal.

According to reports from the Spanish newspaper Marca, an agreement has been reached between Real Madrid and Xabi Alonso, and the Spanish coach is expected to be officially announced soon.
In an interview with renowned Spanish journalist Ciro Lopez, Scaloni stated that if he were in Xabi Alonso’s position, he would not hesitate to bring Nico Paz back to Real Madrid. He said, “If I had the option to buy him, I would not hesitate to sign him.”
Scaloni added, “Nico Paz has the quality not only to play for Real Madrid, but also to continue developing. He’s a young player any coach would benefit from.” It is worth noting that the 20-year-old is currently shining for Italian club Como, and Real Madrid holds a purchase option for the player. Spanish reports indicate that the club intends to activate this option to bring him back as soon as possible.
