As Real Madrid’s transfer market continues to heat up, reports from Spain suggest that Xabi Alonso, who will take over as the club’s coach in the summer of 2025, has requested that the club sign one of his current star players from Bayer Leverkusen during the upcoming transfer window.

According to Marca, Alonso believes that German sensation Florian Wirtz is the perfect addition to bolster Madrid’s midfield.
