Following the announcement of the departure of Croatian Luka Modrić, one of Real Madrid’s most prominent midfield legends, the club’s management has begun its actual moves in the transfer market to sign a world-class midfielder capable of filling the significant void left by the Croatian “maestro.”
Real Madrid is targeting a player with international experience and strong technical vision, as part of a long-term project that will ensure continued dominance of the midfield both domestically and in Europe.
In this context, retired German star Toni Kroos, a Real Madrid legend, recommended that his historic club’s management sign Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller.
Real Madrid’s management is keen to revitalize the team’s midfield following the departure of Luka Modrić and, before him, Toni Kroos.
According to a report published by the website Football España, Stiller is among the names linked with a potential summer transfer to Los Blancos following his performances during the recent season in the German league. Real Madrid’s management believes that Stiller possesses the technical capabilities that make him a suitable signing for the club’s ambitions in the coming period, especially after Kroos’ recommendation.
A video clip has gone viral showing one of Stiller’s teammates during Stuttgart’s celebration of winning the German Cup, pointing at the young star and shouting “Hala Madrid.”
The coming period will answer the question of Real Madrid’s ability to complete the deal if the technical staff decides to sign him.
Stiller, 24, excels at playing as a defensive midfielder. His contract with Stuttgart expires in June 2028.
He has made 81 appearances for Stuttgart in all competitions, scoring five goals and providing 17 assists.
