Spanish press reports indicate that Saudi club Al-Nassr is interested in signing a distinguished international defender from Barcelona, considered one of the most prominent players in his position.
The 29-year-old’s contract with the Catalan club expires in the summer of 2026, and at the direct request of the Saudi team’s star, Ronaldo, Al-Nassr officials have begun negotiations with the player.

According to information from the Spanish newspaper Sport, Barcelona’s management has not yet submitted an offer to renew Christensen’s contract, despite German coach Hansi Flick’s high regard for him.
The newspaper explained that Al-Nassr has made a tempting offer to the Danish defender, which could potentially double his current annual salary.

Sport added that Al-Nassr representatives visited Barcelona about a month and a half ago to assess the status of several players, with a particular focus on the defensive line.
The newspaper noted that Christensen has not yet expressed a clear desire to leave, but the Catalan club may be open to negotiations given his current situation.

The Danish player featured in only six matches for Barcelona across all competitions last season, without scoring or providing any assists.
