Pedri and Gavi discover the decisive decision regarding the future of Barcelona’s young star!

Pedri González and Gavi are both aware of their teammate’s intentions to leave Barcelona soon, although he is still hesitant to specify a date, whether it be in January or at the end of the season. If any injuries occur within the squad, Joan Laporta and Deco will not allow him to leave, and he will remain under Hansi Flick’s management.

The Player’s Future: Stay or Leave?

Marc Bernal’s future seems to be leaning toward leaving Camp Nou. At his age, he needs regular playing time and to be a consistent starter; otherwise, he risks jeopardizing his career, especially after recently recovering from a serious anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Hansi Flick cannot guarantee him consistent playing time due to the competition for his position, and he is not yet fully fit despite Bernal being one of Flick’s first signings upon arrival, which initially gave him the opportunity to appear with the first team before his injury.

Barcelona Still Believes in His Talent

The club sees Bernal as a promising prospect and a potential successor to Sergio Busquets, appreciating his exceptional technical and physical abilities. Barcelona is open to loaning him out to gain experience and regain his fitness, and negotiations have begun with several La Liga teams, most notably Girona, who appear to be the frontrunners to sign him.

So far, Barcelona’s management has not finalized any departure procedures, and no changes are expected before January. Ultimately, Flick’s assessment of the team’s needs will determine the young player’s future.
