The future of Swedish star Ronnie Bardagji has been shrouded in uncertainty at Barcelona amid persistent rumors of his potential departure from Camp Nou in search of more playing time.

However, sources close to the club have confirmed that the management has made its position clear. German coach Hansi Flick has complete faith in Bardagji’s abilities, and sporting director Deco has expressed great satisfaction with his performances, despite him featuring in only 9 out of 25 official matches this season.

Reports indicate that Barcelona is rejecting any loan offers for the player of Algerian descent, asserting that he has a bright future within the team and will be a key pillar of Flick’s squad this season.

Furthermore, the team relies on Bardagji as a substitute for Lamine Yamal in matches where the latter is unavailable. He can also be deployed as a winger or attacking midfielder, even when Djamel is playing, allowing the coach to utilize his versatile attacking skills.

It is worth noting that Bardagji scored his first goal in the Spanish League this season during the match against Real Betis in late December 2025, confirming his ability to shine with Barcelona.
