Major shock in the market… Manchester United is heavily targeting a Barcelona star ahead of the new season!

Marcus Rashford’s impressive performances and statistics during his loan spell at Barcelona appear to have completely altered Manchester United’s plans. The 28-year-old England international winger joined the Catalan club on loan last summer until June 30, 2026, with an option to buy for €30 million.

During his time at the Spanish side, Rashford has flourished and established himself as a key player, a stark contrast to his situation at Manchester United under Ralf Rangnick.

However, the arrival of Michael Carrick as interim manager at Old Trafford a few weeks ago has changed the landscape, with the manager showing a clear interest in bringing the former academy star back and integrating him into his future plans.

The Telegraph reports that Carrick, who has made a very positive start since taking charge of United, is keen to utilize Rashford’s experience and attacking prowess to bolster the squad for next season, despite his current contract as manager expiring at the end of the campaign.
