Widespread speculation has recently circulated regarding Jürgen Klopp’s potential move to Real Madrid starting next season, especially in light of the team’s current struggles. However, the German coach has clarified that he is not considering joining any club mid-season.
Klopp has stipulated that, should he decide to take charge in the future, he must be granted complete freedom in making transfer decisions and restructuring the dressing room at the Santiago Bernabéu, a point confirmed by Ruhr Nachrichten.
Stars Outside Potential Plans
The newspaper revealed the names of players who may not be part of Klopp’s plans, including Franco Mastantuono and Arda Güler, both regarded as international talents who have yet to live up to expectations, as well as Ferland Mendy, who has lost his starting position due to injuries and a decline in performance.
Klopp’s arrival would also affect the future of Dani Carvajal, whose contract expires on June 30 and who has not received a renewal offer, after injuries limited his contributions to the team. According to reports, Carvajal would be among the first players asked to leave, while Trent Alexander-Arnold would benefit by occupying the right-back position under Klopp.
A Historic Decision at the Bernabéu
With Klopp’s arrival, the squad would undergo a significant reshaping, and the futures of several Real Madrid stars would become uncertain, amid expectations of a comprehensive overhaul that would include the departure of players unable to fit into his tactical plans.
