Real Madrid continues its aggressive activity in the summer transfer market, placing French star Michael Olise at the top of its priority list to strengthen its attack, despite Bayern Munich’s insistence on keeping the player and its declaration that it has no intention of letting him leave.
According to press reports, Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez is considering making an exceptional offer that could reshape the transfer market in an attempt to convince the Bavarian giants to sell one of their star players.
The reports indicate that the proposed offer includes a fixed fee of €190 million, in addition to €33 million in performance-related bonuses, bringing the total value to €223 million.
If the deal is completed at this price, it will become the most expensive transfer in football history, surpassing Neymar’s move to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 for €222 million.
Real Madrid’s management believes that Olise possesses the potential to lead the team’s attack for years to come and is therefore willing to make a historic investment to secure the deal.
In contrast, Bayern Munich remains firm in its stance against letting the player leave, considering him a cornerstone of its sporting project, especially after his outstanding performances last season. This has led the German club to reject all offers so far.
Despite the difficulty of the negotiations, Real Madrid remains optimistic that the situation could change as the transfer window progresses, particularly since Florentino Pérez has a history of making decisive moves in the final stages to secure major signings.
The Royal Club continues to explore all available options to strengthen its attacking line, with Michael Olise remaining the club’s top target. The club is now waiting to see whether the coming weeks will bring an official offer that could go down in football history as the most expensive transfer ever.
