Olmo’s Agent Drops a Bombshell: Where the Barcelona Star Wants to End His Career – and Secrets Nobody Knew
The agent of one Barcelona star has dropped a major bombshell in a new media appearance, revealing where his client dreams of ending his career, at a sensitive time when talk about the player’s future at the Camp Nou keeps growing.
The agent did not stop there. He revealed secrets almost nobody knew about the Spanish star’s life off the pitch, from an old shirt he still wears at home in Barcelona to generous donations he has quietly made for years, and two offers he turned down from Bayern Munich.
The star in question is Dani Olmo. The 27-year-old Barcelona midfielder wants to finish his career at Dinamo Zagreb, the club where he developed, and even hopes to start his coaching career there, his agent Andy Bara told the Inkubator podcast, as quoted by SPORT.
“Dani still walks around the house wearing a Dinamo shirt with the number 7 and his name on it, even now in Barcelona,” Bara said. He also revealed that Olmo has donated 2 per cent of his gross annual salary to the Croatian city of Vukovar ever since leaving Dinamo, through his time at RB Leipzig and now at Barcelona, describing the amounts as substantial even though the player never talks about it publicly.
The agent added that Olmo rejected Bayern Munich twice: first while at Dinamo, on Bara’s advice, and again during his Leipzig spell, when Barcelona and other clubs were also in the race and he chose the Catalan side. The comments come amid reports of Bayern interest in bringing him back to the Bundesliga, with Olmo not currently an undisputed starter, although there have been no contacts so far and he remains fully committed to the Blaugrana.
