British press reports shed light on developments regarding the future of Dutch coach Eric Ten Hag, coach of Manchester United, in the coming period, especially after Sir Jim Ratcliffe officially acquired part of the shares of Manchester United.
According to the British newspaper Mirror, Julian Nagelsmann, the current coach of the German national team, is considered one of the options available to coach Manchester United after the end of the upcoming Euro 2024 tournament.
The Spanish newspaper indicated that Nagelsmann is one of the priority options for Ineos, owned by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, owner of Manchester United, to succeed Ten Hag as technical director of Manchester United.
The British newspaper confirmed that Sir Jim Ratcliffe will wait until the end of the season before making a decision regarding Dutchman Eric Ten Hag, the coach of Manchester United.
The British newspaper explained that Ratcliffe does not mind Ten Hag staying, but he explained to him that qualifying for the Champions League is a major priority for the Dutch coach.
It is noteworthy that earlier, Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s acquisition of 27.7% of Manchester United shares was officially approved.
Ten Hag has been managing Manchester United since the summer of 2022, but he has not yet succeeded in achieving any title with Manchester United.
