Barcelona, led by President Joan Laporta, seeks to bring about a comprehensive revolution within the ranks of the Catalan team next summer and get rid of a good number of the Catalan team’s stars.
According to recent press reports, there is a final decision to leave the Barcelona duo next summer, and Barcelona has even identified replacements for these players.
According to information received from the Catalan newspaper “Sport”, the duo of the Spanish club Barcelona’s first team are now a few steps away from leaving the team in the upcoming summer transfer period.
Many reports have circulated about Marcos Alonso and Sergi Roberto leaving Barcelona at the end of the current season by decision of the Barcelona Sports Department.
The newspaper added: “The club does not face a major problem with their departure due to the presence of other players such as Hector Foote, Alex Valle and Julian Araujo who can replace them efficiently next season.”
Barcelona wants to get rid of players who do not provide the required addition, and their departure would reduce the club’s high salary bill, which would allow the Catalan team to conclude several deals next summer.
