Spanish press reports sparked a huge surprise regarding the fact that the German Bayern Munich star will move to FC Barcelona during the upcoming summer transfer period of 2024, to strengthen the ranks of the Catalan team.
Barcelona is seeking to restore its ranks in the upcoming summer transfers by signing heavy-hit deals to lift the team out of the technical crisis it is going through this season.
In light of this, the German newspaper “Bild” revealed that Joshua Kimmich, the star of Bayern Munich and the German national team, agreed to move to Barcelona during the next summer transfer period of 2024, before the Euro competitions.
The newspaper added that German star Joshua Kimmich is facing a major crisis with Bayern Munich and the German national team this season, as he is being relied upon as a right-back with Bavarian team coach Thomas Tuchel, which is not preferred by the player who excels in the midfield.
The newspaper added that what further complicates Kimmich’s situation is that national team coach Julian Nagelsmann is also planning to use the player in the right-back position in the Euro Championship, in order to make room in the midfield for Real Madrid star Toni Kroos.
