The management of the French club Paris Saint-Germain is seeking to deal a strong blow to Barcelona during the current period.
Spanish press reports sparked a huge surprise about Paris Saint-Germain officials aborting Barcelona’s dreams of obtaining the signature of the Parisian team’s star during the upcoming 2024 summer transfer period.
In light of this, the Spanish newspaper “Sport” revealed that the management of the Spanish club Barcelona wants to sign a contract with Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique to lead the Catalan team starting next season.
The newspaper added that Paris officials believe that agreeing to Luis Enrique’s departure during the summer transfer is close to impossible, because he has a contract until the end of the 2025 season.
The newspaper continued that Enrique has become the most important figure at the sporting level in Paris, and is working alongside Al-Khelaifi and Luis Campos to form the “Paris Saint-Germain” formation next year without Kylian Mbappe.
