According to information received from the newspaper “Sport”, which discussed the solutions offered to Joao Cancelo next season after the end of his loan with Barcelona, in light of Manchester City’s unwillingness to return during the coming period.
Joao Cancelo is playing for the Spanish club Barcelona during the current season, on loan from the English club Manchester City.
The newspaper added that Manchester City wants to sell the player permanently, while Barcelona is considering extending his loan, according to the report, amid interest from English and Saudi clubs, led by Al-Nasr, Al-Ahly and Al-Ittihad.
The newspaper concluded that if Barcelona is unable to sign the player, the player and his agent will listen to the offers coming from Saudi Arabia, choose the highest financial offer, and leave there permanently.
