According to an English press report today, it appears that FC Barcelona is once again interested in including one of the young strikers in the German Bundesliga.
She told the Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo” that Barcelona is already tracking the movements of Slovenian player Benjamin Sisko, the Leipzig striker, despite the complexity of the process of contracting with him, given the financial crisis that the Catalan club is going through.
The newspaper reported that Cisco had been the subject of Barcelona’s interest before, but there were other priorities at the time.
Sisco, 20, has a contract with Leipzig until the summer of 2028 and contains a release clause of €50m.
Sisco is 1.96 meters tall and has scored 11 goals and two assists in 34 competitive appearances for Leipzig this season.
Cisco is enjoying interest from big clubs such as Real Madrid, Milan, Chelsea and Arsenal.
Sisko joined Austrian club Salzburg in 2019 from NK Domzal for €2.5 million, then moved to RB Leipzig in 2022 for €24 million.
