Speculation has spread about the future of Croatian Luka Modric and German Toni Kroos, the Spanish duo of Real Madrid, especially after their contracts have not been renewed yet.
Luca has recently been linked to moving to the Saudi Roshen League clubs, where the Kingdom’s top clubs are competing to obtain the services of the average Merengue field.
While several press reports previously stated that Tony may retire if his contracts with the Royal Club are not extended, as the German does not want to wear another team’s shirt.
In a related development, Englishman Joe Cole, the former Chelsea FC star, made fiery statements that sparked controversy about the Los Blancos duo.
It is worth noting that the Blues have recently been suffering from fluctuation in the level of the team, and the poor results they are providing, especially in the Premier League, where they are in eleventh place.
Cole said on German Talk Sport radio, saying: “Chelsea must sign players with experience.”
He continued: “I wonder if Modric, the Royal legend, whose contract has expired, does he want to play for another year in the Premier League.”
He concluded: “There is also Toni Kroos. Does he want a challenge at this age here and to help this young team as they did with Camavinga, Valverde and Chuamini?”
