Press reports revealed the desire of the Spanish club Real Madrid to sign a high-caliber deal during the upcoming summer transfer period.
Real Madrid is seeking to strengthen its ranks by signing strong and distinguished players in preparation for the upcoming competitions under the leadership of Italian Carlo Ancelotti.
According to information received from the British newspaper “The Sun”, Real Madrid intends to submit an offer, worth 75 million pounds, to include Liverpool’s right-back, Alexander Arnold, during the upcoming summer transfer period.
There is only a little more than a year remaining in Arnold’s contract with Liverpool, which does not want to give up on the player, and hopes to tie him to a new long-term contract.
Liverpool are currently going through a period of renewal at a managerial level, with Michael Edwards returning to the club, as Chief Football Operations Officer.
Edwards’ first task will be to find a successor to coach Jurgen Klopp, who departed at the end of the current season, and then negotiate with the players whose contracts expire at the end of next season, the most important of whom are Arnold, Mohamed Salah, and Virgil van Dijk.
