Barcelona, led by President Joan Laporta, seeks to strengthen the ranks of the Catalan team and sign strong deals to restore past glories to Barcelona.
In light of this, Spanish media revealed a statement by Barcelona star Joao Felix regarding the desire of Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva to join the ranks of the Catalan club.
Recently, Manchester City requested an amount of 80 million euros in order to release the services of Bernardo Silva, which no club has offered him so far.
This came at a time when it was revealed that Bernardo Silva’s contract with Manchester City contains a release clause of 50 million euros that allows him to leave for Barcelona, which will take effect in the summer of 2024.
Joao Felix said in an interview with the famous journalist Gerard Romero: “Bernardo Silva always asks me about Barcelona, and how are things going here?”
He added: “I told him that everything was fine for him if he wanted to come.”
Felix concluded his statements by saying: “Bernardo asked me about taxes in Barcelona as well.”
