In light of this, the English newspaper “Daily Mail” revealed that the Liverpool club management wants to sign a contract with the Uruguayan Valverde, the Real Madrid player, during the upcoming summer transfer period of 2024.
The newspaper added that Liverpool sent an offer to include the player worth 150 million euros, equivalent to 129 million pounds.
The newspaper continued that if the Valverde deal was completed at this value, it would be the most expensive in the history of Liverpool and the history of the English Premier League in general.
Valverde played for Real Madrid’s first team in 246 matches in all competitions, scoring 19 goals and making 23 goals.
The newspaper indicated that the player does not want to leave the Bernabeu Castle, and that Perez does not intend to part with the player at any cost, given his great value within Real Madrid on the technical and leadership levels.
