Spanish press reports confirmed, today, Saturday, that one of the prominent players in the ranks of Real Madrid is intending to withdraw from accepting the offer to renew his contract with the Merengue for another season.
The player, according to many reports, was on the cusp of renewing his contract with Real Madrid, but Ancelotti made the player retract his decision at the last minute due to the player’s deliberate marginalization.
According to the Spanish newspaper “AS”, it quoted club sources that Nacho Fernandez is close to leaving Real Madrid, with the end of his contract next summer.
The sources revealed that Nacho had already received an official offer to renew his contract with Merengue some time ago, and indicated that if the player wanted to continue with Merengue, he could do so immediately by agreeing to the offer.
And explained that Nacho backed out of the renewal after Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti turned to rely on Aurelien Chouamini as a center back in recent months, which was repeated in the last match against Manchester City in the Champions League.
