Officials of the Spanish club Real Madrid, headed by Florentino Perez, plan to sign a potential Manchester City deal during the upcoming summer transfer period of 2024, to strengthen the ranks of the Merengue team.
Florentino Perez seeks to strengthen Real Madrid’s ranks during the upcoming transfer period and wants to sign the most important players in the world in all positions.
In light of this, the Spanish newspaper “Marca” revealed that the Real Madrid club management is interested in signing the Brazilian player Lucas Paqueta, the star of West Ham United, during the upcoming summer transfer period of 2024.
The newspaper added that the Lucas Paqueta deal comes in the order of priority after Kylian Mbappe (Paris Saint-Germain) and Alfonso Davies (Bayern Munich), as Real Madrid officials believe that the Brazilian player will be the ideal alternative after the approaching departure of German star Toni Kroos and Croatian player Luka Modric.
The newspaper pointed out that Vinicius Junior, the Real Madrid star, assured Florentino Perez, president of the Royal Club, that his compatriot Paqueta would be happy if he moved to the Santiago Bernabeu.
