Spanish press reports revealed today, Saturday, that the Spanish team, Barcelona, had suffered a new blow in the offensive line, after losing the efforts of Osman Dembele, who left for Paris Saint-Germain, this summer, and the club could not replace him with another player yet.
And the Catalan newspaper, Mundo Deportivo, confirmed that Barca will miss the efforts of its young star, Lamine Yamal, after he was called up to participate with the Spain U-17 national team in the Junior World Cup.
El Mundo stated that the tournament will be held in Indonesia, from November 10 to December 2.
The newspaper pointed out that this summons will cause the absence of Lamine Yamal from the Real Sociedad match in La Liga, in addition to the confrontations between Dortivo Alaves, Rayo Vallecano and Atletico Madrid, if Spain qualifies for an advanced role in the tournament.
Yamal will also miss the fourth and fifth rounds of the Champions League group stage.
And the Catalan newspaper concluded that the call-up to the Spain U-17 national team will not prevent Yamal from playing the Clasico in the first round against Real Madrid, on October 29.
Barcelona tied 0-0 with its host Getafe, in the opening match of Barca in La Liga at the “Coliseum Alfonso Perez”, in the first round matches of the Spanish League competitions.
And the Competitions Committee of the Spanish Football Federation decided to suspend Xavi Hernandez, coach of Barcelona, and Brazilian player Rafinha, for two matches, after the fact that they were expelled, during the Getafe match, in the first round of the Spanish League.
Xavi Hernandez and Rafinha were sent off during the Getafe match last Sunday evening, which ended in a goalless draw.
