One of Barcelona’s prominent players is one step closer to moving to Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal, during the upcoming summer Mercato.
According to the Spanish newspaper “Sport”, Lamine Yamal is untouchable in Barcelona’s attacking line on the right, while the administration believes that Robert Lewandowski is the main reference for the front line.
She pointed out: “Barcelona management does not believe that Rafinha’s playing on the left wing is convincing, so it is strongly seeking to sign Neco Williams (Athletic Bilbao star).”
Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez believes that Nico is better than Rafinha, especially in individual confrontations, and the Bilbao star is very open to moving to Barcelona.
The Spanish newspaper revealed that selling Rafinha to the Saudi League would solve Barcelona’s economic crisis, and would also give Barca the opportunity to sign Williams.
Barcelona is considering several offers for Rafinha, most notably from Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal, which is willing to include him for 100 million euros, including variables.
“Sport” said: “Barcelona has already communicated its intentions to Rafinha, and although the club will respect the decision he makes, the Brazilian winger already realizes that if he continues next season, he will play a secondary role.”
