Despite the announcement of his continuation in Barcelona, Xavi still has not guaranteed his stay to a large extent, as Laporta is secretly seeking to obtain the signature of the former Barcelona coach, despite the difficulty of doing so.
Laporta believes that Nashavi’s time with Barcelona has ended and he is no longer able to offer more, especially after Barcelona lost all possible championships under his leadership.

Meanwhile, Barcelona officials are clinging to the dream of Luis Enrique, coach of Paris Saint-Germain, returning to lead Barcelona in the future.
Press reports previously stated that Enrique was one of the main options to replace Xavi Hernandez, when the latter announced his departure last January, but the Paris coach stated at the time that he was committed to his contract in the “Parc des Princes.”

According to the Spanish newspaper “Sport”, Barcelona officials will remain attentive to developments in Enrique’s future with Paris, and are also prepared for his arrival in the summer of 2025 after the expiration of his contract. It indicated that Enrique is a “very popular option” within the Barcelona administration, specifically with sports director Deco.
For its part, the Paris administration intends to give Enrique an offer for renewal, and Barcelona hopes that the coach will not agree to this proposal, so that the chances of him returning to Barcelona are not impossible.

It is noteworthy that Barcelona bid farewell to the current edition of the Champions League at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain, defeating them (6-4) on aggregate in the quarter-finals.
