Spanish press reports sparked a huge surprise about Real Madrid officials helping Barcelona’s rivals sign a major deal during the upcoming summer transfer period of 2024.
Barcelona is seeking to rectify the situation quickly to return to competing strongly in all tournaments, as usual, after the team lived a very difficult season in which it left all tournaments and left empty-handed.
In light of this, the Spanish newspaper “Sport” revealed that Barcelona was confident that its rival Real Madrid would not enter into a race with it to sign the German international player Joshua Kimmich.
The newspaper added that the difficulty of Real Madrid moving towards the 29-year-old is due to the bad relationship between him and Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, and that Perez does not want to pay money in this deal and is waiting for the player to come for free, in the style of Toni Kroos.
The newspaper added that this confirms that Ancelotti was not convinced of Kimmich’s abilities from the beginning, in addition to the player’s association with him with bad memories.
