Spanish press reports sparked a huge surprise regarding Barcelona’s first-team football star threatening club president Joan Laporta to leave during the upcoming 2024 summer transfer period.
Barcelona is seeking to rearrange its cards before starting a new era under the leadership of German Hansi Flick, who was appointed coach of the team, succeeding Xavi Hernandez.
The Spanish newspaper “Sport” revealed that Barcelona’s new striker, Vitor Roque, threatened to leave Catalan club president Joan Laporta during the upcoming summer transfer period of 2024.
The newspaper added that Vitor should have gotten more minutes and no one understands why they were not given to him. Xavi never spoke to the player and I don’t understand this situation
The newspaper continued that Andre Currie rejected the proposal of his client to leave on loan, and said either sell permanently or stay and participate with the team. If Barcelona does not give space to Vitor, unfortunately we will have to talk to the club to find another solution.
The newspaper indicated that Vitor expected more minutes with Xavi in the final matches of the season, but in front of him was a world-class player like Lewandowski.
The newspaper concluded that Laporta does not mind the player’s departure and asked his agent to bring an official offer to leave and bid farewell to the player, especially since everyone expects Lewandowski to explode and glow with Hansi Flick, so the player’s chance remains very difficult to get a chance to participate.
