Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that French star Kylian Mbappe has officially signed with Real Madrid, awaiting an announcement from both parties.
Romano, a specialist in the transfer market, said that Mbappe and Real Madrid signed all the official documents related to the contract, and that the deal was completed.
Mbappe made his decision to move to Real Madrid last February, after which he informed his club, Paris Saint-Germain, not to continue next season.
The announcement of the contract with Mbappe will come after Real Madrid won the Champions League for the 15th time in its history, after its 2-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund at Wembley Stadium.
The same source confirmed that Real Madrid will announce the Mbappe transfer deal next week, and the player will be presented at the Bernabeu after the end of the Euro.
Fabrizio Romano added that Florentino Perez was clear with Mbappe: Either you accept our conditions for salaries, signing bonus and photo rights, or you will never sign with Real Madrid. It’s over.
He added that Perez told the player that he would not receive the same amount that he would have received if the deal was signed in 2022. The deal would happen on our terms only, and in the end, Mbappe agreed.
