British press reports shed light on the preferred destination of one of Manchester City’s most important stars in the coming period.
Manchester City seeks to maintain a number of team pillars and not abandon them, but the dream of some players to move to Real Madrid may prevent City management from doing so.
The British website The Athletic indicated that 24-year-old Julian Alvarez has been linked to leaving Manchester City in the current summer Mercato and joining Spain’s Atletico Madrid, England’s Chelsea, and France’s Paris Saint-Germain.
The British website explained that Alvarez’s dream would be to join Real Madrid, although the deal would currently be impossible due to the already stacked attacking line in the Royal ranks.
The British website confirmed that Alvarez wants to leave Man City in order to play regularly, and he knows that Real Madrid is waiting for him, but not this year, and the player rejected a historic offer from Paris Saint-Germain in the hope of moving to Real Madrid next season.
The British website reported that Manchester City wants to obtain 80 million euros in order to agree to sell the Argentine star.
The British website indicated that Julian Alvarez played 54 matches with Manchester City in all tournaments last season, scoring 19 goals and assisting 13 others.
The British website noted that Alvarez had joined the ranks of Manchester City from Argentine River Plate in the summer of 2022 for 21.40 million euros.
