Spanish press reports shed light on the readiness of German Hansi Flick, Barcelona’s new coach, to start his career with the Catalan club in a strict manner.
According to the Spanish newspaper Sport, Flick sat with the Portuguese Deco, Barcelona’s sporting director, and agreed with him on the need to reduce the number of attendees to the team’s training next season.
The Spanish newspaper indicated that Barcelona players were disturbed last season by the large number of club employees who were attending training.
The Spanish newspaper confirmed that the former Barcelona technical staff, led by Xavi Hernandez, discovered in the final stages of the season the presence of a journalist attending one of the training sessions.
The Spanish newspaper said that Barcelona suffered last season from leaks that reached journalists about the affairs of the Catalan club.
The Spanish newspaper added that Flick will work to remove this problem, especially since he also suffered from it with Bayern Munich.
The Spanish newspaper explained that Hansi Flick believes that the fewer people present in the team’s training, the less conversations related to the team outside the field, which provides stability for the players.
