Some press reports issued this morning, Sunday, sparked a loud surprise stating that there were signs of a fiery crisis between Carlo Ancelotti, the coach of the first football team at Real Madrid, and the president of the Royal Club, Florentino Perez.
Real Madrid is preparing to continue its successes and win titles next season after winning the league and champions doubles this season.
The Spanish network Relivo said that Real’s French left-back Ferland Mendy has created a major problem between Perez and Ancelotti, as the administration believes that the priority is to sign Canadian Alfonso Davies, the Bayern Munich player, whose contract with the Bavarian giant expires at the end of the summer of 2025.
She added that Ancelotti opposes Perez’s idea and rejects the idea of abandoning Mendy, whose contract with the other expires at the end of next season, and the administration was hoping for his departure if it received any tempting offers to include him.
Mendy was previously linked to leaving this summer after he received interest from several major clubs, but the former Lyon player coming to the Royal Club in 2019 is close to staying thanks to the confidence placed in him by his Italian coach Ancelotti.
Perez believes that the many injuries the player has suffered make him unable to lead the left front, but Ancelotti believes the exact opposite.
