Al-Ittihad Saudi Club entered into serious negotiations with Nacho Fernandez, Real Madrid’s Spanish defender.
Nacho settled, contenting himself with the period he spent in the ranks of Real Madrid, and leaving the ranks of the royal team this summer after the expiration of his contract.
Reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano said through his account on the social networking site “X” that the federation is conducting very advanced negotiations with Nacho, to include him as a free player after leaving Real Madrid.
Romano indicated that talks are continuing between the Federation and Nacho and an agreement has not yet been reached, and at the same time; Real Madrid is awaiting the final response from the player.
He explained that Nacho will leave Real Madrid in a major way, and Lille defender Lenny Euro comes as a possible replacement for him to strengthen the royal team’s defence.
Nacho is now close to accepting the offer of the Saudi club Al-Ittihad, to partner again with Frenchman Karim Benzema, the former Real Madrid star.
The Spanish newspaper “Marca” reported that Nacho is close to signing for Al-Ittihad Club for two seasons, for 20 million euros per season.
Nacho has been ignoring any offers from European clubs since he made the decision to leave last April, as the player does not want to represent any European team after Real Madrid.
