Today, press reports revealed that French club Paris Saint-Germain has allocated a huge sum of money to sign a player from Barcelona’s first football team.
The Parisian club is seeking to strengthen the club’s first football team well during the upcoming summer transfer period so that it will be able to continue competing strongly next season.
Kylian Mbappe left the team to join the first team of Real Madrid, something that the Parisian club is certainly seeking to compensate for, as Mbappe was one of the main pillars of the team before he was transferred to Real Madrid in a free transfer.
According to the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Paris Saint-Germain is fully prepared to pay a quarter of a billion, in order to complete the contract with Lamine Yamal, the Barcelona first-team football player, during the upcoming summer transfer period.
The report added: Barcelona rejects the idea of discussing the player’s departure, but Paris Saint-Germain is willing to pay a record amount of up to 250 million euros in order to obtain the services of Lamine Yamal.
The newspaper concluded that Barcelona President Laporta ended the controversy early and sent a strongly worded message to Paris that the player is not for sale, whatever the price.
Lamine Yamal signed a contract with the Catalan club, so that at the present time, once Paris makes an official offer, it is in the hands of the Catalan club officials, whether approved or rejected.
